This image is from the Pacific Institute’s interactive map showing results of their recent study of the effects of the anticipated 1.4 meter sea-level rise by 2100.

It shows that the current sea wall and the location where the Golf Task Force’s Younger Report would construct the “restored” golf course is at high risk of simply washing out to sea — as have four of the original Alister Mackenzie holes already.
